Embark on a profound journey with Cosecheras Coffee, where each sip tells a story of empowerment—from the sun-kissed coffee fields of Colombia to the vibrant community of Peoria, Illinois.

In the heart of Colombian coffee farms, our resilient harvesters, predominantly women, surmount challenges daily, collecting nearly six kilograms of cherry coffee per hour to earn a fair wage. Simultaneously, skilled women in Peoria navigate barriers, lacking certified kitchens to showcase their culinary creations and bring them to market.

Cosecheras Coffee by Santa Rosa emerges as a beacon of change. Every bag of this exceptional Colombian coffee sold contributes $10.00 to the renovation of the Peoria Women's Club kitchen and pantry. Our aspiration is grand: $50,000 to realize a $250,000 total transformation. But Cosecheras Coffee doesn't stop at community renovation; it's a catalyst for transformation in Colombia too. 

The initiative brings better salaries to our Colombian counterparts and introduces healthcare and professional training in arts and crafts, empowering women to cultivate additional income streams.

This is more than a coffee campaign; it's a journey of empowerment—one bag, one community, one woman at a time. Uplift lives and savor the essence of positive change with Cosecheras Coffee. 

This one-on-one class offers an introduction to the concept of coffee extraction, using manual brew methods. You will learn the importance of brew ratio, grind type, water quality, temperature and optimum conditions for brewing perfectly at home.

There is a wide acceptance that manual brewing methods allow for better quality control and a superior coffee experience. For many, it's more fun and fascinating to have a hands-on approach to their brewing process, rather than hitting a 'brew' button on a machine.
