In 2011, Heber and Marta Vidal acquired a coffee farm in the heart of Colombia's coffee-growing region. Four years later, they proudly exported their first batch of green coffee to Peoria, IL, and began a small coffee roasting operation. In 2020, they opened their very own coffee shop - Cafe Santa Rosa. After three successful years in Peoria, the Vidal family expanded their operation and moved to Peoria Heights.

Nestled in the heart of Peoria Heights, Cafe Santa Rosa offers a unique blend of sophistication and coziness, making it the perfect spot for coffee aficionados. As one of only three coffee shops in the country to source its beans directly from its own farm, we deliver an unparalleled farm-to-cup experience. Our coffee shop, open Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm and Saturday from 8am to 4pm, features a rotating seasonal menu of specialty drinks crafted with precision and care.

At Cafe Santa Rosa, we are committed to giving back. A portion of proceeds from every cup of coffee sold is invested back into the harvesters and farm workers who make this possible. We proudly provide year-round employment, childcare, and a free annual health clinic for our workers.

When the sun sets, Cafe Santa Rosa transforms into an upscale bar, offering high-end cocktails at an affordable price. Join us Thursday from 6pm to 11pm and Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 1am for a vibrant nightlife experience, complete with live music and a welcoming atmosphere.
